Elizabeth J. Fleener, 77, formerly of Danville Route 4, died yesterday (Aug 15, 1969) in Tall Trees Nursing HOme in Covington, Ind. Born Aug. 31, 1891 in Broadlands, she was the daughter of John and Lydia Ann Miller Brown. She was married March 12, 1912 in Allerton to Ephram T. Fleener who died on Jan. 30, 1952. Mrs. Fleener was also preceded in death by two daughters, a brother and a sister. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth and Willard Fleener, both of Danville; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Wittenmyer of Danville, Mrs. Marion Vardeman and Mrs. Charles (Wilma) Hilton, both of Cayuga, INd.; 29 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Jennie Leonard of Champaign and a brother, William H. Brown of Danville. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Berhalter Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren N. Stuber officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday between 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
